Place was beautiful and absolutely amazing the main point of contact Lu Jinyuan was beyond helpful he got us where we wanted to go, arranged the mogao cave tickets got us to there had a driver waiting to pick us up and take us back to the room. So super helpful and extremely patient with English only speakers. Amenities were great he took me for an atv ride through the desert everything was complimentary overall had a great time. Would recommend for travelers from outside china to get a Chinese phone number not just an eSIM and also have WeChat connected with the hotel beforehand.

Our stay at Dunhuang Desert Galaxy Celestial Palace - Glamping Resort (漠野星河•紫薇垣）was absolute magic—it completely exceeded all our expectations for a desert glamping experience! Clean room: The tent interior was spotless, pristine, and refreshingly dust-free despite being in the desert. The bedding was ultra-clean and cozy, and the private bathroom with dry-wet separation was maintained to perfection. Staff: The hospitality team deserves a full ten out of ten! From assisting with our heavy luggage to organizing local transport and answering late-night requests, every team member was incredibly warm, attentive, and swift to help. Family-friendly & Activities: It is a wonderful getaway for couples, packed with an unbeatable lineup of exciting activities! My husband and I had the time of our lives with sand sliding, thrilling off-road buggies right next door, and unforgettable camel rides. Paired with desert BBQs and evening campfires, the vibe was both romantic and thrilling. Shops nearby: The hotel effortlessly strikes the perfect balance between tranquil desert vibes and convenience. It sits within easy reach of Crescent Spring Town （月牙泉小镇&敦煌有好市）and the Shazhou Night Market, making it super easy to grab essentials, souvenir shop, or sample local street food. Whether you are looking to stargaze in the deep desert or enjoy an unforgettable family vacation, this place is a 10/10 recommendation!
