Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. Secondly, the accommodation: beautifully decorated, comfortable, well-appointed and with all necessary accoutrements. The beds are heavenly, the kitchen is well-stocked, the patio is welcoming and the living space is cosy. Thirdly, the hospitality: there is none like it. Christine made us a full, lovely breakfast every day, and the selection varied daily, as well, affording us the chance to taste delicious local specialties. She offered us tips on where to go and what to see; if she hadn’t recommended it, we likely would’ve bypassed the enchanting town of Bayeux, given the tapestry is currently on loan to the UK. As it was, we ended up rearranging our schedule and spending a full day seeing the town, much to our delight. We will definitely be back! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Le Doux Refuge. Don’t pass this gem up!

Ejerne var ekstremt venlige og meget hjælpsomme. God oplevelse alt i alt og en lækker morgenmad. Vil klart anbefale og overnatte igen 10/10
