Highly recommend this as an alternative to downtown. We chose this as our home base for an anniversary weekend and were very happy we did. Recommend one of the suites if it fits your budget!

Sarah provided exceptional hospitality, going out of her way to show us the amenities. Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. Breakfast at Warda was “next level” and we appreciated having the vouchers for breakfast each day. Would recommend ALEO to anyone and would stay there again.

Absolutely a must-stay for lovers of art and design. The whole property is immaculate, and the room was comfortable and quiet. Delicious drinks and pastries are steps away at Father Forgive Me and Warda Patisserie. The location is also convenient to downtown (15 minutes).

Absolutely one of the most charming stays I have ever had in the states!
The attention to detail from the linens, bath robes, towels, le labo soap and shampoo and conditioner (my ABSOLUTE fave brand),
To name a few are extraordinary!
The feel! The downstairs rooms to do work.
No TVs in the room, so you can turn off!
The landscaping outside
The neighborhood
SARAH!!! Incredible!
I could go on and on
Unless they are booked, I won’t hesitate ever staying here when I’m in Detroit! Wish we had a place like this in Columbus.
I highly recommend booking the entire place if you have guests that can fill for a work Confernece or wedding! It would be the bomb!

Enjoyed a staycation in one of my favorite parts of the city in this beautiful space that's full of character - and super clean. Thoughtful little touches. Loved the library, art work, spacious bathroom and the super comfortable bed.
