The hotel was very quiet for our stay, and felt rather impersonal. However, the rooms were clean and there was very little to complain about

Overall, it was a good stay. The check-in process was a bit confusing because the front desk was located right next to the restaurant, making it difficult to tell whether the staff were hotel employees or restaurant staff. One issue I had was that housekeeping did not clean our room even though we placed the sign on the door requesting service. After a long day of touring, we had to contact the front desk just to get fresh towels. However, the front desk staff were very friendly, responsive, and quickly provided extra towels and any other amenities we needed. I wasn’t a big fan of the location, as it is quite far from the Old Town. Since this is a Marriott property, I think I had higher expectations. While the service was good, it wasn’t quite at the level I expected from the brand. I may have visited at an unfortunate time, as the large shopping mall nearby was closed due to a holiday and Sunday trading hours. Without access to the mall, I didn’t see much advantage to staying in this area.

Amazing hotel, I fully recommend.

Loved our stay, esp the complementary transport voucher

The location was great, it was very easy to drive to and then a short bus or train ride to the city. The hotel also included day passes for public transportation for each day. There is a mall across the street, so it you need food there are lots of options. The hotel room is small, we had to squeeze between the bed and the wall, but it was still very nice, it even has a heated bathroom floor. The breakfast was good, my only suggestion would be to keep the level of eggs higher, several times the eggs seemed to be running out.

Perfect place and amenities.

You can catch the electric bus outside the property that takes you right into Salzburg old town. The hotel was new, clean and modern. It had lots of cool features like electric shutters on the windows. It has a car park. We had a relaxing stay here.

We took the train to the hotel, the only thing was the signage was quite confusing. But after a long walk, we did manage to fine the hotel. We had a nice stay, the staffs were super helpful. Kudo to Sara and Hamit at the reception desk, they were very nice and patient and very knowledge. They helped us every day with all our inquiries. We especially enjoy the free public transportation card provided by the hotel.

Love our stay at The Passenger, a Bonvoy Marriott Hotel. We particularly love the Nespresso machine in the room, The hotel is less than 2 years old about 20 minutes bus ride from the city center. We were grateful to receive the transportation mobility voucher complimentary of the Salzburger region. The front desk was amazing and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Staff where very welcoming, room very clean, definitely recommend the hotel, will be going back again to stay
