Staff was out when we checked in and had to wait.

Room was okay. Reeked of marijuana tho. Desk lady busted into my roon saying she thought it was vacant.

The air conditioner in our room didn’t cool the room at all. The sink in our room was stopped up and we found that under the beds of the room weren’t cleaned very well. The parking is also terrible.

The room was clean and fine, but I was more concerned about traveling as a solo female here. I had some uncomfortable interactions (a stranger knocking on my door for no reason, multiple people asking if I needed or had a lighter). The lock on my door was also clearly tampered with. It still worked but the doorframe was splintered or just missing entirely near the lock part. I didn’t feel as safe as I would’ve liked to, but I was there for one night and the room did what it needed to do.

Check in took a very long time, and the staff member gave the impression something was wrong with the reservation and left the room. The room was not very clean and was not in good repair. This was not a safe area with many questionable people hanging around after dark. There was lots of noise in the room above us every night between 9 pm and 2 am. At first we thought it was furniture moving, but then decided it was dogs playing with toys and barking.

Good place to stay for an old hotel that was modernized. Hence the name of the hotel. Great, No frills, kind of place for the price.

I have NEVER felt so unsafe or disgusted by a property on this site. After checking in (2 rooms), we found one room was smelly, had water damage, and questionable stains on the carpet. The second room had a mysterious powder (likely meth) on one bed and a blood stain on the second. When I complained, “housekeeping” (who seemingly lived at the property) came to the room and stripped the beds throwing the powder on the floor saying it was “just salt” and then said “there’s going to be some stains”… This motel, while only a block from the main strip, was surrounded by homeless people openly doing drug deals in the parking lots as we left. We also noted likely sex workers whom were walking the floors looking for business. My rate was “no refundable”, guess I know why now… but I refused to stay there with my kids. I’m writing this review in hopes it prevents others from the same experience or worse. It’s disgusting and unsafe. Don’t do it!

Would highly recommend against any families staying at this property. They advertise as family friendly/welcoming, however if you are not interested in gang members, homeless people wandering around, and crime in the alley across the street then avoid this place at all costs.
