First off, it's a beautiful hotel—very new, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to offer recommendations. The room design was an A+.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with the room. When I checked in, I found a visible stain on the undersheet. Always check! To their credit, the housekeeping manager responded quickly and changed the bedding. I also noticed a slight damp smell in the room and pillows, although I'm not sure what the cause was.
I didn't raise the second issue because I was on a tight schedule and didn't want to risk another room or bedding change after already dealing with the first problem. I also had my own pillow, so I decided to let it go.
Overall, it's a genuinely beautiful hotel with excellent staff, but the housekeeping needs to be more thorough, as these issues took away from what would otherwise have been an excellent stay.
