The East Bay Inn never disappoints, for history, location, and service. The rooms are beautiful and the staff clearly takes pride in their work and the property. We were only there for 18 hours but it was a perfect base for our time in Savannah and made everything walkable. We will be back!

We loved the place ! It has an unique charm.

What a beautiful hotel! Perfectly situated to explore Savannah just a 5 minute walk down to the river and parking included was great. We arrived very early but Martin ( hope that’s his name!) was so helpful and checked us in and contacted us when our room was ready. He was great giving information on places to go. The room was spacious, welcoming and clean and the bed super comfy with lots of thoughtful extras. The breakfast in the attached restaurant Debi’s was delicious. The complimentary bottles of water and soda were great and well needed in the heat! Would definitely recommend a stay here you won’t be disappointed 😊

I wanted to start by sharing a quick story. On August 16th, 2025 I proposed to my now wife on the riverwalk near the WWII Monument. After we got engaged, we decided to come back to Savannah to get married at the Forsythe Park Fountain on June 23rd, 2026. On both occasions we stayed at the East Bay Inn and the staff, and everyone just made our visits the best you can get in Savannah. They helped us greatly on the morning of our wedding with many people coming and going, from Photographer, Limousine, taking care of our wedding cake. They made our day very special and unforgettable. My wife and I would highly recommend staying at the East Bay Inn and visiting Debi’s Restaurant in the basement. Amazing food. We also had a visit from our Friendly spirit Charlie. Thank you again East Bay Inn for making our wedding day very special and all you did for us. We will definitely be back for more memories.

Loved the coffee bar and beverages provided. Location was great. The restaurant and bar were nice additions to our stay. We will be back.

Historical property that is convenient to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful and the air conditioning was nice and cold. Parking was convenient and easy to navigate. The room was large and comfortable we will definitely be back!

The gentleman at the desk was so nice and helpful. Loved the bar next door.

The staff were so kind. The room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. We could fill our bottles with water downstairs where you could also get tea. The parking was very close and reasonably priced. You could get a latte across the street and many shops and restaurants nearby. Great location. When I left my charging cord after check out, the staff called immediately so I was able to turn around. It was an enjoyable stay.
