Plenty of shops,eats and Riverwalk in immediate area.. we had stayed there before and had a good experience. When we arrived by taxi, they didn't even offer to help us up the steps with our bags. I'm 79 years old and I look at.
This time, the staff was not friendly and in fact seemed indifferent, even though they acknowledged that they remembered we had stayed there previously. It was a holiday time, and we asked the front desk when we checked in if they would please check to see if we could stay an extra day, even if it was necessary to pay a higher room rent. They never even had the courtesy to follow up. So we just left.
This place was going to be on our list of favorites, but now, should we return, we will book elsewhere.
