The breakfast was very good well done everyone

Really nice room, though could do with a bit of maintenance. Excellent breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. The pub and restaurant looked nice but we didn’t get a chance to try them.

Room clean and tidy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Lovely bar area and food was delicious. Stayed many times and will definitely return.

This place is an absolute GEM. Stayed here a few times on route to the docks at Southampton. Really friendly staff, great accommodation and friendly and helpful staff

Very nice place to stay, enjoyed it. Very helpful staff, easy accessibility.

It's a nice hotel with a lovely big car park which is definitely a bonus in Romsey. There is a good cooked breakfast available but there is not much choice or quantity on the buffet. There is a nice beer garden where we ate in the evening which was very pleasant and the food was good.

A warm welcome, beautifully appointed rooms with excellent facilities and personal touches. Food was very tasty, the menu varied and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Will come again had a great stay good food

This was our third stay at the Cromwell Arms and parking and check in were both quick and easy. Our room, Green Drake, is smart and spacious and has a very nice en suite. Unfortunately it has the disadvantage of being on the ground floor, right at the front, and whereas I don’t particularly mind the noise of the passing traffic (and they provide ear plugs!) I find the fact that pedestrians walk past the window quite disconcerting, and having to pull the blinds down the minute you get into the room isn’t really ideal. In three visits to this hotel we have been given this room twice, so I must make a point of rejecting it the next time we book. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of fresh fruit, cereals etc; and our cooked options were all very good as well, with quality ingredients perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The bottom line is that this is a very good hotel in an ideal location close to the river and the town centre.

Beautiful and comfortable room and bathroom. Very well equipped and exceptional provisions. Excellent breakfast. Great evening meal. Limited motorbike parking (lethal gravel) but found a spot on entrance paths.
