Conveniently located in the walking distance to the old city

The food at the bar is amazing.

Our stay at this boutique hotel in Prague was exceptional. The elegant décor feels brand new, with top-quality materials throughout—from the beautiful flooring to the custom cabinetry—creating a luxurious yet intimate atmosphere. The Monkey Bar restaurant was a highlight of our stay, serving outstanding food and creative cocktails that were so good we returned for dinner twice. While the service was a bit slow, the quality of the experience made it well worth the wait.

Perfect for a two-night getaway. The sauna and steam room were immaculate. Decent negroni in the bar. Great location.

Comfortable bed and pillows, clean room, normal size bathroom for a small hotel room, we used the gym that was downstairs and it was probably the best maintained and equipped gym for a hotel that we found so far, treadmill bicycle free weights, cables, towels and water. We were able to walk to any sites we wanted to from this location, everything was very close by 15 to 20 minutes away. We also walked to the castle which was about 40 minutes away. We did about 27, 000steps. we did not eat at the hotel or drink at the bar. No fast food or decent restaurants nearby, no supermarket or spar.Liddl, Aldi etc nearby. The main square is about 15 to 20 minute walk which was easy, the castle was a 40-minute walk and was very easy to get to using Google maps. Maps anja walking part. We would stay at this hotel again. When you walk in the hotel and down the hallways, it will remind you of a John wick movie. No interaction with the staff other than check in and check out, we did have to pay a city tax upon checkout. There is a wet bar but we didn't use anything in their room. Right across the street from the main train station, which makes this place extremely convenient for getting anywhere around Prague.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! Our room had tall ceilings and was spacious with a couch and a lovely dining table and chairs. There was a menu where you could order pillow upgrades for free; we opted for the lavender pillow. The real reason I’m writing this, though is because of how helpful the front desk associate was. I had a few odd requests and he was accommodating to every one (for instance, I get very hot when I sleep and I asked for the hot water bottle to be filled with ice. He couldn’t get that to work, so he got me a huge bag filled with ice and sandwiched in a towel to avoid “sweating”). We only had a quick overnight stay as we caught the train to Brno the next morning but the kindness shown to us was amazing, and I am very grateful.

The Falkensteiner Hotel Prague is conveniently located very close to the train station and is overall well situated. It’s not right in the middle of the action, but everything is easy to reach, whether by public transport or on foot. The only issue I encountered was with the air conditioning: on the first night I had to sleep with the window open and a fan, as the AC wasn’t working and the hotel was fully booked. The next day they moved me to a room with better air conditioning. Other than that, there isn’t much to complain about. It’s not an outstanding hotel, but it’s not bad either.

Mostly lovely stay at this hotel. The location was great for us and the room was beautiful. The bar and restaurant were great as well at the breakfast; which was amazing. One massive communication issue was the airport transportation. On hotels.com it said the hotel has an airport shuttle. I asked the front desk and they said yes. They booked us a car for the morning of departure. We got in the booked car via the hotel and when we arrived at the airport the driver said we had to pay her in CASH! Thankfully we had just enough of money to barely pay for the ride. I messaged the hotel and have yet to get a response. I doubt I will. Honestly, I won’t be staying here again because it was such a major miscommunication that could have resulted in a major issue for us if we had not had enough cash with us. Plus, the lack of response at all from the hotel is disappointing.

The big room was spacious with high ceiling. Liked that it came with toilet essentials and a coffee machine too.
