Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. Free parking round the back of the hotel with space for about 10 cars. Breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast consists of self serve cereals, fruit juices and water then you order from a menu for the rest of your breakfast. We opted for poached eggs on toast and the poached eggs were perfect. There are 14 rooms available at this hotel which is above a pub. There isn’t a lift so if you have mobility issues you may struggle. No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room.

This was an amazing stay, staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the amenities one could need. The bar was happy, lively and a great little stop off. The food for both dinners and breakfast was great quality, always piping hot and the staff couldn’t be more generous with their attentiveness. Would stay again in a heartbeat - great location too!

Enjoyed our stay. The room had been beautifully refurbished. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cooked breakfast was great

Excellent roast chicken dinner and a very good cooked breakfast. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and good bathroom. The staff were very friendly and attentive

Can’t praise this place highly enough. All the staff were fantastic, great food and a great base to explore the new forest area. Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Very friendly staff. Nice room. Great choice for breakfast. Pub restaurant food was reasonably priced and very good. Am likely to return in the future
