Shizukuishi Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in the Tohoku area, located in Iwate District, Iwate Prefecture. The ski resort is about 86 hectares; the longest course is 2,648 m, and there are about 20 courses. Since Shizukuishi Ski Resort is so large, we recommend taking a lift to get around the area. There are about six lifts, including a ropeway (only one location is open at night). The scenery from the lift is something you can rarely experience. In addition, a restaurant with a lunch menu based on Western food is located near the zone where children and families can practice skiing. Therefore, if you are hungry, do not hesitate to visit the restaurant! Once you have satisfied your hunger, you will have the energy to enjoy skiing even more
