Booking guidelines

  • Book at least 7 business day(s) before you intend to receive your rail pass
  • The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding
  • You must book your JR Pass before traveling to or entering Japan
  • You will receive one Exchange Order for each person, which will be used to redeem your physical JR Pass ticket

Pass eligibility

  • 7-day Whole JR Pass:
  • Children aged 1-5 may ride the JR trains for free so long as they're accompanied by a paying adult and do not occupy any seats. Up to two children of this age range can join each adult for free. A separate child rail pass is required from the third child and onward
  • Infants aged 0-11 months can ride the JR trains for free
  • Robot Restaurant Show:
  • The show is free for children aged 0-2, for children aged 3-5, please book a separate Robot Restaurant Show ticket

Additional information

  • 7-day Whole JR Pass Information:
  • This is valid only for travelers with a Temporary Visitor Visa and a permanent residence outside of Japan for 6+ months. Non-Japanese passport holders with a permanent residence in Japan cannot use JR Passes
  • Secure a Temporary Visitor Stamp at immigration to be eligible for a JR Pass. You must pass through the manual gates or ask a clerk to apply the stamp (if you went through the automated gates)
  • Japanese passport holders who have been residing outside of Japan for 10+ years are eligible to use a JR pass if they have 1) a valid Japanese passport and 2) a Copy of Overseas Residential Registration/Certificate of Overseas Residence from the embassy/legation of Japan in your foreign country of residence
  • Robot Restaurant Information:
  • The restaurant has admission regulations and the following people will not be admitted: anyone wearing sun glasses, those who are intoxicated, those with visible tattoos, and those in costume (e.g. cosplay, wigs)
  • The show isn't suitable for customers with epilepsy
  • The restaurant is wheelchair and stroller-accessible. Please indicate at the checkout page if you or a companion of yours will be riding a wheelchair or stroller
  • You must check in at least 30 minutes before the show starts. Please make sure to enter according to the required time range. Please be on time because latecomers won't be allowed to enter
  • If you fail to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled show time, your payment/reservation will be forfeited and no refunds will be issued
