Related regulations

Notes for pregnant passengers:

If you are pregnant, please inform us and state the number of weeks of pregnancy when booking. Passengers who are more than 24 weeks pregnant are not allowed to board the ship. All pregnant passengers must provide a doctor's certificate before boarding, proving that they are less than 24 weeks pregnant and are fit to travel. If not provided or not in compliance, the reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Health-related regulations:

If a passenger needs special assistance during the voyage due to physical or mental condition, mobility impairment or other medical conditions, please notify us in writing at the time of booking or as soon as possible after such a situation occurs. If after evaluation, it is determined that the required medical care cannot be provided, or that it may affect the safety or rights of the passenger or others, we have the right to refuse or cancel the passenger's boarding. If the passenger is denied boarding, we will determine whether to refund all or part of the ticket fee according to the circumstances. Otherwise, we will not provide any refund, compensation or bear any responsibility

Tobacco regulations:

Each passenger is limited to carrying one lighter or one box of matches, which are not allowed in checked baggage. The number of cigarettes shall be subject to local customs regulations (for example, Taiwan is limited to one pack). There are smoking areas on the ship, and smoking is strictly prohibited in other areas. Please be sure to comply.

Insurance related information:

The ferry ticket does not include personal travel insurance and the ship company will only be held responsible for accidents caused by its negligence according to the law. We strongly recommend that travelers purchase travel insurance and overseas emergency medical insurance (the recommended coverage is at least NT$2 million and includes overseas medical expenses).

Pet regulations:

Pets are generally not allowed on board, regardless of size or whether they are in a pet carrier. However, if guide dogs, hearing dogs and other working dogs can provide legal proof (guide dog certification, vaccination certificate, registration certificate, owner's letter of commitment), an application can be submitted at least 30 days in advance and the ship will review it.

Medical Care Service Description:

Medical care is provided on board at your own expense, which is not included in the fare and is not assisted by the public insurance system. It is recommended that travelers purchase travel insurance that includes "overseas medical benefits" in advance to prepare for unexpected situations.
