私は、こちらのホテルを予約し、ペナン島の観光を楽しみにして家族四人で向かいました。
前日にはきちんと予想到着時間をメール。
次の日になっても、連絡来ず。
心配しながら、夕方の7時に到着。
しかし、メール来ず。
TELしても電話に出ず。
小さな子供二人抱え、タクシーはgrab払いで来たので現金も持っておらず。
当然、子供はお腹を減らしグズリ出す始末。
そんな中、ホテルズドットコムの窓口チャットから日本人オペレーターに連絡が取れ、状況をメールで報告。
確認しますと返信あり、安堵。
しかし、待てど40分近く連絡こず、そんなオーナーなので、これは無理。
今日の新たな宿を見つけなければと、スマホを使いたいのに、チャットはこの画面をきらないでくださいとか出てくるし、
進捗、どーなってますか？

遅れどオペレーターからチャット連絡来ず。
やっときたと思ったら、ちゃんとメールしてますか？
と。
してるわ！あんたらみたらわかるやろ！
こんだけ時間かけて あんたら何してたんやろ。
子供は野外からの不安と空腹で泣き出すし！
もう仕方ない、新たな宿をみつけ移動。
その日は換金も出来ず。
泣く泣く、しょぼいホテルに移動。
スタートの悪い家族旅行になりました。
問題なのはオーナーだが、それよりも窓口になっているホテルズドットコムの対応のまずさたと思う。
もっと早い段階で、すいません、連絡取れません。
申し訳ありませんが、新しい宿見つけてくれませんか？
と一言早くいっていただけたら、展開も変わっていました。
新たなホテルに着いたのは10時前位だっかな。
最低、最悪。
今までこちらのサイトをかなり使わせていただきましたが、使うはやめようと思いました。
本日帰国したのでこれから対応させていただきます。

We booked the hotel BUT got NO indication how to check in. When we arrived at the hotel and contacted with the Agent, we were told that NO ROOM was lept for us and we were told to Grab to another hotel for 2 days (which was much poor in terms of facilities, even no micro-wave oven was provided and broken bed) for checking in. We got NO effective compensation. The
We rebooked this hotel two days later and checked in. In general, the housing condition is good except the excedingly TERRIBLE Internet, WHICH in effect blocks any surfing!!
BTW, the Agent seems not very responsive to questions.
