Fantastic
This is our second stay as we stayed in the same room as we did last summer, coincidence but interesting how they assign rooms. Location is great to walk to everywhere, and take subways, taxis are just outside by the entrance all the time. Room is tiny but has everything. Tickets for one free drink daily per person but it is always busy on the rooftop. We used once, breakfast is authentic Japanese style.

This was such an amazing stay. With incredible staff, incredible location right next to the heart of downtown. The views from the bath were incredible. For the price this was the best stay we've had in tokyo.

We love this Japanese themed hotel. The location is cental and the level of services we have received were fantastic. We would select this hotel if we come to Kyoto again in the future. The hot spring with the rooftop view is also a highlight for the stay.It is an amazing experience.

Rooms are very nice with several amenities but are small as is common in Japan. I stayed in a superior Queen room by myself and I think it would be tight for two. The long bench seating area was nice to have. The bathroom is small and the rainfall shower was excellent. Otherwise the room was quiet and housekeeping was excellent! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. They do have Onsen baths on the 9th floor as well as refreshments and popsicles available. There is also a complimentary happy hour on the roof top with 180 degree views of Kyoto. The location was also great and convenient to get around Kyoto. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Loved this hotel - the onsen is incredible, beautiful view. Room was more spacious than other hotels we visited in Japan - nice to have the entry area and couch seating. The rooftop bar with complimentary daily drinks was a really nice spot to relax. We would absolutely return!
