Good hotel for one night. There is a family mart just downstairs. Breakfast was convenient and good. Walking distance from dinner options, and about 3min drive to Takachiho gorges

The bed was the most comfortable I slept in so far. Room was large enough for a single person. They had free amenities in the lobby and the breakfast had a good Japanese spread. The only con is the elevator is super slow lol but at least they have one! Family mart underneath is super helpful. Would stay again and it's super close to the takachiho gorge!

The hotel is an 11-minute walk from the main bus station/tourist center. Due to bus schedules, I needed to leave a day early. The hotel did not budge in terms of giving me a refund for the extra day. For that reason, I will not stay there again. I also learned there are other hotels much closer to the city center, which would have been more convenient.
The staff were friendly in terms of making calls and helping with the bus.
There is a very well-stocked Family Mart on the bottom level of the building, which was convenient. Otherwise, you will need to walk a distance to get food!
