Fantastic
The room was very clean and modern. The pool area is great to relax in and to swim some laps (25m long). The gym facilities are great with dumbbells, cable machines and bikes. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was also great! Highly recommend :)

Good location for MCEC but on the CBD side of the river. One star off for the $100 AUD per night "deposit" which seems to be becoming the new standard...some poor couple checking in next to me were having to fork over $500 to be allowed to stay in the room they'd already paid for!

Fantastic
Beautiful contemporary hotel in the centre of Melbourne near Southern Cross Station. Staff were excellent and amenities fab. Only issue for me was the bed which was a little hard. Could do with a plush mattress topper.

Housekeeping isn’t that clean but staffs and front desk are very nice . Nice room but it isn't clean Need to do better with housekeeping

Staff at front desk super helpful. The rooms were not as soundproof, unfortunately next door closing the door make a huge sound late at night. Breakfast was a little disappointing - it should be better once renovation is finished

Hotel is conveniently close to Southern Cross station. The current breakfast area doesn't work very well and staff in that area were not very helpful and clearing up after earlier diners appeared to be a low priority

The pros are: location, walkable distance to city centre, room was ok, bed was comfortable, breakfast was ok too, but not great. Cons are: we stayed at room 810 and we could hear every train passing by, very loud noise, and apparently staff said that we should've asked for a quiet room on the arrival, also the water in the shower was not hot enough.
