When I visited the hotel a few months ago. One of the lifts was out of action. On this visit both of the lifts were not working. Maintenance at this hotel is poor.
On check-in I had to wait 10 mins for a receptionist to check me in. Generally hotels is unkempt and dirty. It’s a good location just a shame it is not being maintained well

Cheap and cheerful. No issues but very basic - hotel is clearly a former travelodge and lacking in TLC - you get what you pay for!

Fantastic Didn't need parking as arrived by train, 10 mins walk to hotel. Very central, close to a range of shops and eateries

Clean comfortable bed
Our room was not as clean as I would expect was not hoovered properly and a dirty spoon like dried up yogurt or something on it .
Could do with hand towels as well as bath towels

As I was only staying 2 nights the room was fine but any longer and I'd have asked to change room, as very noisy overlooking main road. One of the security cables on window had been cut, so window could be opened wide!
I was in a room with twin beds….only one had clean bed linen on. Bit disappointed with starkness of the room but not bad for price.
