Sub medie On arrival at the location I was refused check in due to policy and terms and conditions I had booked and payed for my stay in full due to no id I was refused check in and also refused a refund so I could subsequently rebook a different Hotle. Talking to hotels.com who were very helpful in trying to get me a refund the manger refused and was stated that they have the money and hiding behind terms to keep it

Breakfast was very good and I liked making my own waffle. Room was good. Little lift outside hotel for disabled and elderly was very difficult to figure out how to use. Had to carry heavy luggage up the steps. Ramp might be better. Location was good. Would recommend staying there.

Just stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in York for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location, very near the centre of York, easy walking distance to the shops. The hotel exceed my expectations in all areas, the staff were very helpful, polite kind and courteous throughout the stay. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus with a wide choice of items to choose from. I would definitely recommend this Hotel, and this will be my go to Hotel for all my future stays in York.

Seen many negative reviews about this Hotel.
We stayed as a couple , the hotel was amazing, rooms were perfectly clean, staff were lovely, air con worked as it should.
Great fridge in room, all other necessities, shower gels etc. the COMPLIMENTARY breakfast was amazing, have been less pleased in 5* hotels . Situated within walking distance of most attractions.
Thank you Hampton by Hilton Piccadilly, we had a fab stay great value for money 🙂

Items from previous guest left in the room. Makes you wonder how clean the rest of the room is. Rig in bedroom very dirty and marked.

Fantastic Breakfast and bar area along with alcohol selection not great, but clean rooms and not a bad property. Excellent location, though they didn’t tell us about the discount on parking, which is a 10 minute walk away.

Our room was excellent - king-sized comfortable bed, view of Clifford’s Tower, etc. Breakfast buffet was good; albeit not as good as ‘home-cooked’. Location was great.
