Ideally located close to bolhus market and 5 minutes to the start of the city. Lots of shops around and cafes. Reception are very welcoming. Bed and bedding were extremely clean and crisp. Lovely big bed. Bathroom is really nice and plenty of shampoo and body wash. The shower floods the bathroom so we asked for an extra shower mat to control it. The bar has limited choice, just a local IPA and various wines. We didn't have breakfast.

This Ibis hotel is located close to a Metro station. First time to arrive the hotel is not easiy to be found as no sign is visible from the main street. The building is an interesting representative of early 20th century architecture and was used as an apartment house before being transferred into a hotel. Staff is very helpful in providing information. Rooms are furbished fit-for-purpose and very clean.

The location of the hotel was close to the Mercado Bolhao, and everything else is walkable. The shower area is a little bit quirky since there is no way to prevent the water from overflowing into the rest of the bathroom. Other than that, it was a good place to rest after a full day of exploring the city.

We chose this hotel originally mainly because of the location, close to the metro line from the airport, an overground train station, and the Bolhao market. So no dragging cases along steep cobbled streets! Also good road access if going on trips etc. This hotel was clean, smart, and comfortable. Simple buffet breakfast and a bar.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but they had what looked like a generous serving of healthy looking food. The staff was excellent. The location was the best!

Lovely staff and very helpful. Comfy bed. Very close to buses and metro (Bolhão) Places to eat nearby. Also very close to Mercado Bolhao.
