This was my second stay at the Royal hotel, the rooms are very clean and tidy, shared bathroom is spotless, there is a kitchen for all the people staying, always plenty of coffee, tea and milk supplied and plenty of plates cups and cutlery complete with a microwave oven. Down stairs is complete with great food, plenty of areas to sit down relax while you enjoy a brew or two as I did. The location is excellent as you have bus, train and tram services the moment you step out the door not to mention great bunch of shops.

Place was exactly as advertised. Everything was really clean and the bed was 10/10 comfort for me. Cozy small room, and amenities had everything. Common room was clean. Great stay.

I booked the room with Ensuite. The mattress is too soft and can hear the noise from the traffic. The room is furnished with basic furniture pieces only. No hair dryer, no basic table and chair.
