Great location two streets back from the Reeperbhan surprisingly quiet. Comfortable rooms and close to transport links to all destinations across Hamburg.

We went for this 175 euro option while visiting family in Hamburg that lives just nearby. We only needed to sleep there so didn’t need anything extravagant. Everything was very clean but very basic including the furniture in the room and the bathroom cabin.

On the first night, it was pouring with rain, it was late and i was hungry. I thought oh this is a red Ibis they must do some sort of food. I asked the guy on reception. Any food mate? No nothing was the reply. Following morning i go down for breakfast, new person on reception. I ask about public transport and right behind the receptionists head is a sign saying pizza's for sale, cooked to order. Angry didn't cover it! Other than that, not a bad hotel. It's an Ibis so you know what you're getting

The hotel was okay, but my room (228) had a smell of eggs or sewer gas or something. It was unpleasant to walk into, but got used to it. Otherwise, it’s a fine hotel.

Tried canceling my reservation months in advance, manager refused because it was a non refundable booking. Enjoy your 1 star review. Terrible customer service.

We had two rooms on the 5th floor and both of our bathrooms smelled terrible. Must be a pipe problem. Carpet was old and stained. You get what you pay for. Definity a budget hotel. If this doesn't bother you, the location is great . Close to U-Bahn, Reeperbahn, harbor, Dom. We chose it for the location. Not sure if we want to return to this hotel.
