This is a lovely oasis in a city that doesn't widely demonstrate concern for cleanliness and having things in their place. The staff members are genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ample and served in pleasant surroundings. The only drawback is that it is located half way up a steep hill (not to mention that Apple Maps shows it as being in a different location) - but then so is most of the rest of Istanbul. If you are not fit when you arrive, you will be when you leave. Some of the restaurants we were referred to by management had main courses all priced at 2400 Tl which is quite expensive - Istanbul is expensive we found. But there is an area close by a bit further back from the waterfront and directly along the street that has abundant cafes and restaurants.

The Witt hotel is in a great location with easy access to the local train that runs through the city. The hotel is "boutique" style with apartment like rooms that are very spacious, clean and well appointed with all the amenities you need for comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet has excellent choices and includes eggs made to order. There is a fabulous roof top "patio" where you can gather to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner and the stunning views of the city. And last but not least, the staff is very helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Istanbul.

It is a very nice and friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast. The only drawback is the streets are very hilly. However we overcome the problem by ordering Uber.
