The hotel was nice. My too was right by the pool which was nice. There was an incident with some hotel guests in the middle of the night where there was screaming and yelling. Security and staff were in it fast. But as a woman, traveling alone, I decided to check out early and went home.

There is some type of smell inside the room but I'm not sure what it is. I think it is coming from the AC.

I have stayed here several times over the years and this time it seemed that our room was quite small, the floor was very dirty (possibly from soot from the nearby freeway), the bathtub and shower were showing their age, and , most annoying, they now charge for parking. Ugh! One thing that was as excellent as always was the Waffle Spot for breakfast. Another improvement is that they have constructed a landscaped walkway (because the street doesn't have continuous sidewalks) which makes walking a lot safer and more pleasant.

Plenty of parking. Got there fairly early because my event was at noon. Had breakfast. It was reasonably priced and delicious. Bernadette was our server. She was attentive and personable. Waffles did not disappoint. Neither did the mimosa flight. Checking was amazing. Staff helped us take our luggage to the second floor. Dinner was delicious. Bed was comfortable and we felt safe. Thank you for wonderful stay.
