The hotel and room was clean and well kept. The staff were helpful and polite. The location was walking distance to the Imperial Palace and the hotel offered free shuttles to the Golden Temple and the Bamboo Forest.

pros: location was good, nearby bus and train station, room was nice and bathroom was modern, good water pressure. Good room soundproof, great air conditioner. Free amenities located in the lobby like toothbrush, haircomb, just grab and go. Staff was nice and helpful, i used airporter to transport my bags to osaka and the process was seamless. All the staff work super hard specially the staff working at the breakfast buffet. cons maybe offer bottle of water the first day staying at the hotel, i noticed that some hotels do that.

Very clean and spacious hotel room. Perfect location close to subway that takes you everywhere, and also at a very comfortable walking distance to Nishiki Market, Nijo Castle, and other shopping areas. The supermarket next door has great snack selections, and many convenience stores around it. And the selection of bakeries around is incredible. Totally recommend!!
