I liked that there was a bad and bathrooms in the lobby. The bag hold was very useful too as we checked out much earlier than our flight.

We have arrived early and the staff let us chek in early because the room was ready. The staff was very helpful, answering all our questions during the stay and helped us with a smile always. The room was great too and nothing was missing.

We had an amazing stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect!

The hotel has basic amenities, sufficient for a comfortable and budget friendly stay. Adding unbeatable location, it makes Pod 39 a highly recommended spot for accommodation in Manhattan.

Staff here is super friendly and helpful. The price was right and the location is super close to Grand Central/several train lines. An easy 25 min walk over to Times Square/Broadway. Check-out time of noon is great. It's nice to have the bar off the lobby as a common area, especially with a pool table to keep the kid entertained and lots of World Cup on the multiple TVs. The 2 bunk bed room is *extremely* tiny with a teeny window but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean (if a little bit worn). The bathroom door is just a couple feet from the bed and you can see through the glass wall/door. There is almost zero privacy, so nobody should stay in that room type without being extremely comfortable using the toilet basically in front of their roommate. Grievances: The food was bland and overpriced both in the bar and in the adjacent restaurant (a plate of pasta with 4 shrimp and 3 bits of broccoli for $40 is WILD-- and I live in this city!!) There's nowhere to really put your toiletry bag in the room, doors slamming up and down the hallway, and easy to hear the alarm going off in the room across from us. My biggest complaint was the horrible deep vibrating noise that went on and on when the AC/heat was on. Fortunately the weather was mild enough to shut it off, but we could still hear the relentless sound from other rooms and it felt like a minor form of torture trying to fall sleep. I would have changed rooms (room 1005) if I was staying more than one night.

Only stayed one night on business but would stay again for sure!
