Was good

The carpets throughout the hotel were damp, stinky and absolutely filthy. One of the elevators didn’t work and my mother who was disabled was not directed appropriately to the only working elevator. There were 3 baby sample soap bottles for a family of 5. The AC didn’t work. Overall a terrible and disappointing experience!!!

This hotel is about 1.2 miles from the Tarrytown train station. The nuber 1 bus from the station will get you to the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenience if you do not drive, like me. The unmotivated front desk staff was on her private phone when she checked me in, and she asked me to take the elevator to my 2nd floor room. What she did not know was that the only elevator for the customers was NOT working, and I had to climb 3 short flights with my hand luggage to reach my room. The restaurant dinner was atrocious and expensive, a plate of deep fried fish and chips that cost $36 with tips and a 'hotel surcharge (with no explanation). Then, the fire alarm started and the fire engines were there. There was no hotel telecom to apologize or to explain to the customers what was going on. I saw many customers only in their swim suits waiting outside the buildings. No public apology or any explanation by the hotel management with regard to what had happened ! After I went back to the room the next afternoon, I did not see restocking of cups, body wash, and shampoo. The house keeping staff only made my bed. There is this lack of attention to obvious detail that I did not expect from a Wyndham group of hotels. Overall, the room was quiet, and the beds were clean and comfortable. However, if you are expecting professional excellence from the Wyndham group , you may want to consider alternative options for your accommodation in and near Tarrytown.

Perfect respite from traveling up from Long Island. Accommodations were very comfortable. “Only” cause for concern was to pay $4.00 per cup of coffee. “Really” ?? after paying $157 for one night?

The hotel is basic and fine, with common areas that are nicer than the rooms. I did not have a good experience with the desk for checkin. There are other places in a similar price range in this area with much more helpful staff.

The front desk attendant was very pleasant and accommodating, clean rooms and well maintained facility.

Very cute place to stay. No problem with anything at this facility except the humidity in the room was so much the bedding and pillows felt damp. Even adjusted the AC and it really did not help the damp feel in the room. It is a very pretty place we would consider staying again if we ever came through Sleepy Hollow again

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. But we were disappointed with a few things: 1) We arrived to find the air conditioning not working. And even after they fixed the thermostat, the air conditioning did not dehumidify the room properly. 2) The room darkening shades were not long enough. They ended before the end of the wall. So they were not so room darkening. 3) We were billed twice for our stay.

I have stayed here four times but this ladt time was miserable! Teenagers and adults banging doors yelling and running down the corridors and the hotel staff didn't do anything about it. Mind you this went into the wee hours if the morning
