We booked two rooms, one as a 2-person and one as a 3-person. They showed a couch could be used as a bed with pictures. Despite the booking of one room as a 3-person room, that room had only two bath towels and no bedding for the third person. We noted the issue shortly after checking, which was around 7:00 pm, and the front desk noted they would take care of the issue. After going out, we came back at 11:40 pm and nothing had been done. We then had to call the front desk and re-explain the issue. They finally brought us a sheet, blanket, and towel, but they did not have a pillow. Outside of this annoying situation, the room was clean and well-appointed.

We stayed at The Wellem for two nights in their Junior Suite and had a wonderful experience! Beautiful property, spacious accommodation and attentive staff. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Düsseldorf. The only thing I found missing for this otherwise exceptional hotel is that they don’t provide shower gel which is weird given the other amenities they provide, so be sure to carry one!
