Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham West Palm Beach Airport

Let me start off by saying "I love Extended Stay". I was a little disappointed this time. My husband & I chose this hotel for a small anniversary get away. The initial check-in was mediocre. The concierge didnt seem to have a good spirit(maybe she was having a bad day, I won't hold it against her.) The 1st complaint that I had was the shower head. Only NBA players would be safe. I am 5'7 and my husband is 6'3...he had to tiptoe to adjust the shower head and I would have had to stand on the side of the tub(which is dangerous). Then we both took a fall in the "kitchen area" because the borders are lifting around the tiled section. After dinner on Tuesday, we went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels, this is when we found out about the promotion for different attractions. We stood around calling for someone for about 4 - 5 minutes before my husband went outside to ask security for assistance. After about 10 -15 minutes, we received the towels (from the guard) no one ever came to the check-in counter. There is free buffet breakfast, they have bar on premises as well. We did not use pool, but it was nice and clean as well as the property outside, which we took a walk each night. They have a cozy little sitting area in the corner of the parking lot which includes 2 benches and a grill, as well as another sitting area near the rear of the building. We checked in on Sunday & checked out on Wed. I would still recommend because as I stated in the opening, I love Extended Stay.

It was such a nice stay. Probably one of the most cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at. Most staff were friendly. Loved the complimentary breakfast. We didn’t do happy hour but it seemed nice. They also have a bingo night and cookies at the front desk which was nice. Everything worked well. The pool was great too except another family had gotten it gross after bringing food and having pieces float around. Ew.

The staff is excellent and the hotel is really clean and everyone is very accommodating and helpful.

The front desk person when we Checked in was very disrespectful walking away with no communication and having us standing around without asking us kindly to wait while she sort out the matter. She needs some customer relations training

Overall property, breakfast area and room were all clean. Front desk and kitchen staff were GREAT.

I like the closeness to a main road. The rooms look like they need updating. Dishwasher would get full of water as if the sink was draining into it after bringing up the first day it was fixed but it happened again it was brought up again no one fixed it and our room didn’t get cleaned garbage still in room when we came back from an all day conference to find no one came to clean. Disappointing when we paid over a 1,000.00 for 3 day stay.

One of the cleanest rooms we stayed in and the rooms were huge!

Great stay - was there for a golf tournament and travel was easy with lots for food and grocery options around!
