Every thing was great

Well kept place. Very charming, clean, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and slept great.

Staff was friendly and excellent. There is a tiki bar on the first floor which closes at 10. Great drinks and fun vibes. Fantastic location close to everything. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were on second floor. Pillows and quilt were so comfy! But…the walls are thin. Maybe because we were in one of the rooms that has an adjoining door but we could hear the family next to us and everyone walking along the hall. The room upstairs must’ve had flooring and the people staying there were moving around the furniture. Now, my husband and I were partaking in all the adult drinks but we were aware enough to hear all the goings ons. In summary: stay here if you plan on being on the top floor, are a great sleeper, will pass out after a night out, or have ear plugs.

Rooms we beautiful but our room was a little warm. Air was turned all the way down but didn't cool the room off. Only other complaint would be the ice machine on the second floor did not work so you had to go to a different floor to get ice.

Great location, friendly staff not many amenities on site and the building was historic.

This hotel had a unique charm to it. It suited all of our needs. Beds were very comfortable, atmosphere was perfect.

We recently stayed at Bienville House and booked two rooms for our family. The staff was one of the highlights of our stay—everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There were a few drawbacks, however. When we arrived, one of our rooms was not ready and still needed to be cleaned, resulting in about an hour wait. We also booked a Sundeck Room expecting some type of view, but unfortunately our room overlooked a wall. The rooms did not have a microwave, which would have been convenient for families. Housekeeping could have been a little more thorough, as we found candy wrappers under one of the beds. In addition, the water pressure in one room was fairly weak. If you're driving, be aware that valet parking is at a sister property, so plan on waiting approximately 15–20 minutes each time you need your vehicle. Overall, the location and outstanding staff made for a pleasant stay, but there are some areas where the hotel could improve, particularly with room readiness, cleanliness, and setting clearer expectations about room views.
