We booked a large room, which was not ready when we arrived at 3:30pm. They "upgraded" to a very small room with a view of the river. The 3 nights stay was uncomfortable in the very small space

Fantastic hotel

The Royal Horseguards is perfectly situated for access to all the main districts of London Center and provides an upscale, but not pretentious, hotel experience. I recommend the breakfast. Truly, high quality and delicious!

Average at best. While the rooms were clean, the furniture felt dated and showed its age. The only staff members who genuinely seemed happy to be in hospitality were the doormen and bellhop. I’ve received better service at lower-rated hotels elsewhere in Central London, and overall this property was not worth the price. The front desk was slow, and the concierge did not communicate effectively with the doorman when arranging taxis. We were heading to Paris by train and had only 1 hour and 15 minutes to make it to the station, but due to the miscommunication, our taxi was given to other guests and it took far too long to secure another one. By the time we arrived at the station, we had only 30 minutes left before departure and were not allowed through security. Every remaining train that day was sold out, so we ended up spending a significant amount extra just to keep the rest of our Eurotrip on track. The location is excellent, but if you’re looking for standout service and a more polished overall experience, I would recommend considering other hotels in the area.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff in a superb location. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Had a bit of a faulty towers feel to the place while we were there with fire alarms going off for hours, elevators not working and bars closing at random times. Still, would highly recommend staying here !

Great staff, clean room The AC worked well but had mostly cool weather & rain during our stay. Good breakfast for the price. Thought the hotel was amazing! I would stay there again. So close we could walk to stuff around Westminster area.
