It is a very convenient location and affordable.
It would be nice to see a new coat of paint of the hotel rooms and replace the carpet with laminate wood floor which make the room more appealing to stay and keep clean.

Generally still good. Stayed there many times. But this round the aircon has some high frequency noises which is very disturbing at night. Same for the occasional noise from the fridge.
Breakfast starts 7am!!!! Should be 6 or 630am
Otherwise all good. Strategically loco

Booked the suite. It is 40sqm. Location is ok, near Ipoh Parade. However, shocked to see the bath towel with a huge hole!!!

Came in late night and just want to go up and rest and had to endure a staff mansplaining loads of unnecssary things.
Car park space is very limited...
Room condition is so old.. toilet seats coming apart.. not even the right size for the bowl. Wall paper coming apart.
Paint job drips on the floor not even removed.
You get a feeling nobody cares about your room so I wonder if they cared to clean the pillow and bedsheets properly.
Only reason to sleep over is I'm too tired after a long drive.

The bathroom was very tired with mouldy wallpaper and needed renovating. Bed was comfy and bedroom was spacious. Good air con and WiFi. The spa facilities were OK but Ivthought there was a swimming pool and actually it was only jacuzzi and plunge pool. Bit dark, again in need of a bit of a makeover. Steam and sauna too. Have to pay extra to use. Breakfast could do with more veggie options and some of the food had gone cold (buffet). Excellent location and lovely staff.

For its price, I like the clean and refurbished room. The hotel also offered decent breakfast to showcase Malaysia’s multicultural communities. Suggest to offer Ipoh signature food for the breakfast :)
