What a beautiful hotel, but unfortunately a disappointing experience. We loved the property itself and its atmosphere, but the service fell far below our expectations. We stayed here during our wedding weekend and, instead of making things easier during such an important occasion.As a bride and groom, we expected at least a little empathy, flexibility, and kindnes not only toward us, but also toward our friends and family. Sadly, that was not our experience. The hotel is beautiful, but the lack of hospitality left a lasting negative impression.

Bayram tatili sırasında 4 gece ailece konakladık. Kalabalık müşteri grubu ile başa çıkamayan otelde kahvaltının tam bir keşmekeşe dönüştüğü anlar yaşadık. Bayramı ideolojik olarak hedef aldıkları müşteri profiline göre ayarlayan otelde ne bir likör ne bir çikolata ikramı vardı; ufacık da olsa bir bayram şıklığı yoktu. Hava güzel olduğu için açık havuzu kullanmak isteyenler de hayal kırıklığı yaşadılar çünkü yeteri kadar şezlong ve şemsiye yoktu. Yılların Çelikpalas'ı otel idare etmeyi bilmeyen kişilerin eline geçmiş maalesef.

The two big pluses at Çelik Palas are the amazing thermal facilities (some of the best in Türkiye) and the friendly staff we encountered throughout our three-day stay. The main challenge for us is that the room was simply too hot/stuffy - even though it's still warm in mid October, the central air conditioning had been turned off. We opened the balcony door but the road noise is very loud, so it was difficult to reach a comfortable temperature to relax...which is a shame, because the hotel has many excellent features and deserves to be busy - but the room temperature has to be suitable to the unique tastes of every guest.
