Kaye was communicative and lovely. Her home is a calming respite for busy travelers. The outdoor space is spacious and beautiful, with friendly horses nearby. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the room was very clean. My Way Guesthouse is a very good value.

Briliant location - surrounded by countryside but less than 10 minutes' drive into Durham. Very dog friendly, with great walks from the door. Rooms were clean and cosy, with toiletries and tea and coffee facilities supplied. There is a sitting area inside and a large garden space. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The owners are friendly and gave us some good recommendations, but also gave us our own space.

An overnight stay needed before a uni offer day at Durham., I just wish we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need and the views ! Hopefully the uni offer will be accepted and I can stay again for a while longer !
