A comfortable hotel close to the HBF. Good sized rooms which appear to have been recently down up. The main draw back of this hotel is that the rooms are not airconditioned and the hotel has a very limited supply of fans. Windows can be opened but avoid the front facing rooms on a hot night as there is noise throughout the night from people in the square in front. Didn’t have breakfast due to our early departure.

This is a fairly run-down hotel facing a very loud street and lacking air conditioning. I was there during a heatwave, and the room was both suffocating and loud. Hotels in Hamburg are expensive, and this is on the lower end of the spectrum, but I would avoid it, at least in the summer. The only advantage is that the hotel is opposite the train station, if that's what you are looking for.

Good location, opposite railway station.Reception staff lacking friendly service.Breakfast staff excellent. Breakfast buffet plentiful but no hot choices. No tea/coffee facilities in room,have to go out of hotel for a cuppa. No iron in room , and no iron available to borrow. 20 euro deposit required for room safe . Refund given on leaving . Overall hotel was budget.

Entry from street depressing and staff member on duty was disinterested. Room ok but very dark with a low wattage bulb only. Bathroom clean and tidy, shower good. All in all it was good value for city centre, just basic and tired.

The buffet staff and lobby receptionist were nice. Water pressure in the restroom is strong. Spacious rooms. And hotel is near everything:food, train, shopping centers. Plus, the hop on and hop off bus stop is in front of the hotel.
