Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel

Well located. Outdated room, and bathroom, malfunctioning blackout curtains, very noisy A/C. Courteous staff.

The location and wonderful personal

The ice machine was broken on the hottest week of the year and never fixed. Bathroom in the room was in rough shape, shower curtain rod pulled out of the wall, toilet leaked, sink was rotten and moldy wood underneath the metal veneer. Not to mention the clattering of the pipes was deafening anytime an adjoining room turned on their water. Also a note to anyone staying here, it is LOUD all the time - even on the 12th floor, the street noise is definitely not filtered out by the paper thin windows

The room was clean and good but a bit on the smaller side.

My room was clean and comfortable for 1 night.

When we arrived at the hotel, the check in process took a while because there was only one person at the desk. We were able to check in and given a room after about 15 minutes. We went straight to the room to drop off our baggage and the room was about 80 degrees. Went back down and let them know that the ac was not working and they said that someone would come look at it while we were out to dinner. Came back three hours later and AC was still out. While I was waiting in the long line again, there was another guest with the same problem. I requested a different room and the manager, Ariel (sp), said that he had to go check some rooms to see if they were clean before we could move. I grabbed all of our luggage and moved us to the lobby to wait...and wait we did. I was there for 30 minutes until I finally approached the desk again asking where my room was. The manager, Ariel, proceeded to argue with me that he looked for me and that I was no where in the lobby. Once all of that was taken care of, the next room was small but cold. We stayed here for a total of 4 nights. Great housekeeping staff. Things I noticed: No washcloths No coffeemaker No TV in the type of room we had No breakfast offered Clean and comfortable beds and bedding Good water pressure Small room The last night, the AC went out at 3am. I went down to the lobby again to ask for someone to fix it three times. I finally gave up and packed our bags and left to the airport early. Would not stay here.

Once we arrived the desk clerk was super friendly and helpful, we were able to do early check in. Check out was simple and they held our bags for a few hours. Bring cash for that! The rooms were perfect, small room, clean bed, bathroom and a closet with a steamer. At about 4 mins from time square. 10/10

The room was small for two adults but it was clean, cleaned everyday. Never really sat in the bar area or had any food there so overall lovely hotel 👍

No voucher for breakfast.

I would not stay here again. The room and bathroom were not very clean when I arrived. Missing face and hand towels. No Kleenex or extra roll of toilet paper; had to find someone form house keeping and ask for those items. The AC did not work and although I spoke to the front desk several times they did address it and it was never fixed. The front desk staff were completely disinterested in anyone approaching them and acted as if they were being bothered when someone did. They had no sense of customer service or any sense of urgency in helping anyone. Sure, the hotel is conveniently close to Times Square, but is not worth the money. There are much better place in the price point.
