A small inn ran by an old couple; I didn't see much of the husband, he seemed to be busy doing various tasks around the property. The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself.

Great hidden gem, wonderful Lady who owns the inn. Just unfortunate food choices nearby is very limited.

Very highly recommend this place. Amazing service and food. Very quiet. Beautiful area and the lady working there is an absolute sweetheart and angel. She takes very good care of you the entire stay. Thank you for an amazing experience.

The owner was very nice and tried her hardest to speak English which she didn’t have to do but was very appreciated. The room was beautiful, very traditional and really gave us an authentic Japanese experience. The only issues were it was inaccessible for those with disabilities, there’s not really ramps in ikoma, at least the route we took, we also has to walk down stairs to get to our room, there wasn’t an elevator. The only other thing was that we had a basement 2 room, which wasn’t bad but the door to our room was lockable only from the outside of our room, thus if someone locked us in, there is no way for us to get out which can be a little scary and sort of a fire hazard. Other than that it was great.

The Inn is beautiful and has a calm feeling to it. The owner was very nice and polite. This is a definite place to go if you are looking for a traditional Japanese home experience!
