We had a lovely warm welcome from the lady at reception. Our room was great for a short overnight stop on a long road trip. Very helpful to have the parking right out front and to be able to have our dog with us. There is an Aldi supermarket right next door which was very helpful for food and drinks although the restaurant of the hotel had a good menu and reasonably priced options too.

check in good person helpful
key card didnt work when arrived at room
further faffing to get it sorted another room allocated that key card not 100% either it was flashing orange and didnt alliw reaccess so had to b opened from inside everytime 🙄☹️

Comfortable bed and good shower which was what is needed as a stop over on a long drive south. Room 42 was around the back and quiet. Location was very convenient for the motorway although not much else around. The hotel did have a restaurant which only served pizzas (very tasty) although we did notice a pzza delivering to one of the other rooms on our way back to the room. Nice touch having tea/coffee facilites in the room. Free secure parking.

For the amount we paid this was excellent value for money. We were doing a one night stop over on route to Calais. Check in and out was friendly and simple. Breakfast was good as it was included in the room price but I wouldn’t have paid separately. The rooms good do with refurbishment but everything was clean.
The area immediate area was not particularly nice, building work being done opposite, no green spaces etc. but there was restaurants and facilities a few minutes down the road. Overall ok for a cheap one night stop over.
