This is an absolutely beautiful hotel that is spotlessly clean, has many amenities and is convenient to the Galaport; however, the staff is what makes it one of the best places I have ever stayed. Every person was completely dedicated to helping to make our stay perfect. Every person went above and beyond with any question or request. I would stay here again without reservation and with joy!

The location of this hotel was absolutely fabulous and should not be under emphasized. The hotel itself was great. Staff were attentive. The rooms do have some quirkiness to them because it is a renovated soap factory, which is part of the charm. And when you think of that in context, the hotel is that much better. My only two criticisms are the pillows were way too soft and underfilled, which caused an uncomfortable sleep. The second was that it was not possible to get breakfast à la carte, you had to get the entire buffet at $60 which is terrible value, especially when I just wanted three egg omelette.

electrical problems every room. lights and a/c turned on and off by themselves when we were sleeping every night - issues with the motion sensors for sure. staff was ok but not comparable to Peninsula across the street.

Fantastic
Staff and service are no doubt five stars! Breakfast is good, relatively less number of dishes. But, every dish stirs up your appetite. The breakfast restaurant has a wonderful view of the Galata Tower, too. Because of the location and original building structure I think, the lobby isn’t perfect at busy time. The other issue we had was the street party noise until 2AM… This time it didn’t bother us too much simply because we were so tired every night! Hotel did offer to move us to non-street facing side of the hotel. We told the hotel management we’re OK. Just curious that Istanbul city allows the party until 2AM…

Fantastic
The Marriott was located at a great location where it allowed us to walk to either side of Istanbul to the areas we wanted to visit. The hotel and the room were clean and new. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Istanbul

This was the worst experience. The place smelled so bad and I didn’t feel comfortable. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
