Best Western Northfields Ealing Hotel-Opposite Northfield Station -Piccadilly line

The room was adequate for our needs and the location was great. Reasonably priced for the area. The entire hotel could use new carpets or floors and the bed was torture. New mattresses or toppers would be a huge improvement. Air conditioning worked, but barely. Staff brought up a fan to help with room cooling.

Uh. Where to start. First of all, the name is misleading. This hotel should be called, 'Worst Western Hotel' and not the Best. No complaints about the staff who were helpful and polite. My room was covered in dust from top to bottom. The coffee sachets - DUST. The kettle - DUST. The coffee mugs - DUST. The bathroom - DUST. As a bonus, the bathroom also had not been cleaned and there were human hairs from every angle - in the shower, on the floor, in the sink - everywhere. It was generally a very dirty and run down hotel that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. The only thing going for it, is the convenience of its location, as it is directly opposite the tube station. I couldn't make a cup of coffee after a busy commute because there was dirt and dust on the tea spoons. There was a strange door in the room where I stayed, you open it - and there is another door behind it - connecting to the next room. This felt strange and unsafe. The breakfast was disappointing, dried up muffins with fruit flies flying around everywhere. The coffee tasted stale and I had to leave the premises and go down the road to a nearby cafe just to eat and drink - it felt like a health and safety hazard eating in this hotel. Personally, it's the worse hotel I've been in, in my entire life, and I have stayed in many! They also gave me the wrong room - I paid for a twin, and got this ramshackle single bedroom, I was too tired to complain. Never again!

We only stay here because our friends live close and it's located directly across from Northfields tube station, couldn't be easier for us arriving from LHR, having coffee at the great Poison Ivy coffee a couple blacks away and walking to our mates home for dinner. Otherwise, each time this property gets worse, shower handles broke, curtains don't work, you worry about the carpet....waer socks always!!!....there was a coffee creamer that had been smashed and dripping on stairs in front lobby when we arrived....it was still there the next day!!!!!! But you get what you pay for is what we say...and for a night on arrival or departure it is too convenient and cheap not to try.

The location was excellent, quiet and room was big & clean. There were many restaurants within walking distance, which made the location even more convenient The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaints were that the room was a bit warm even though the air conditioning was on, and the shower was open with no door or enclosure, so water easily splashed onto the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

We had to change rooms three times. The first room in the basement was designated disabled accessible with a wet room bathroom. The drain was blocked so the floor flooded. The floor vinyl was also split. The next room had a defective shower mixer and I scalded myself. The final room had a defective air conditioner that was fixed whilst we were out. The basin waste was partially blocked and the shaver socket was not working and was loose in it's housing. On the plus side the staff on reception were charming and very helpful in finding solutions as quickly as possible.

I arrived to the hotel late at night around 11pm after numerous travel delayed There’s a heat wave in London at the moment and when I got to my room the temperature on the control was reading 30 degrees. I attempted to turn on the air con but it didn’t appear to work I called the front desk and a member of staff attended. He was unable to help with the air con and said it would have to be reported the next day. He then provided a fan which unfortunately just circulated hot air around the hot room I was staying the night before a major professional exam and obviously did not sleep. The temperature in the room only dropped to 28 degrees I got my partner to contact the hotel the next day whilst I was sitting the exam and thankfully I got moved rooms the next nightb

Dire t’y across from Undeground Northfields statio. Very convenient for that
