Our experience can be stupidly as hot and noise. We stayed 2 nights in Room #1 which was facing the main room in mid summer. They offered a fan in the room which was totally useless, you properly can generate more air by fanning yourself than the fan. The room was so noisy at night even you closed all the windows. Just imagine you sleep in a room with all the windows closed in a hot day and hearing cars zooming by through out the night.

Everything about the Conifers was excellent, except for one detail at check-in. I was particularly impressed by the comfy bed and very user-friendly shower.
My only gripe was that when the young lady offered me breakfast for £10 (cash only), she did not explain that this involved just a continental breakfast plus eggs, beans and toast. I had handed over the money on the reasonable assumption the breakfast offer was a full English. On the morning itself, the breakfast proved more than adequate, but I would've appreciated more transparency from the outset.

We arrived later than anticipated and the check in is only until 6pm apparently even if staff are available until 9pm. They did us a favour and checked us in, after a few emails and WhatsApp chats.
The room 8 was in the loft up the stairs. Very small and dated.
Clean but not particularly comfortable. No space to walk around the bed on one side so had to either climb over my partner or the wooden edge at the bottom end.
The bathroom was very basic. Toilet seat broken, off its hinges. Really disappointing given all of this is 4 stars AA, whatever that means. Paper thin walls so could hear a lady in the next room having a phone call.
Breakfast could be booked for cash only.
The shower had no pressure so not really working.
Wouldn’t book again.

Given the location, I thought that the price was a little high, but the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, if I were visiting the area.

Een standaard kamer. Prima voor een paar nachten. Personeel nagenoeg niet gezien, geven weinig tot geen informatie.
Fijn dat je er kan parkeren, in de buurt van openbaar vervoer.
