Used this hotel as a hub in Madrid to visit the surrounding cities of Toledo, Zaragoza, Segovia and Salamanca. Brilliant location both for Madrid itself (near the palace, cathedral, Campo de Casa and so on) and for metro links to the Atocha and Chamartin railway stations to take to the other cities. Really great staff, especially Cristina on reception, who was a delight. Really superb breakfast with a huge selection at the buffet, including for veggie / vegans like us. We stayed in various rooms, the best being 720 with a great view of the Plaza de España. Good gym and lovely pool, though it would have suited us better had they been open earlier. Great bar, too. Would definitely stay here again when we come to Madrid and its environs in the future.
