Our room was okay but there was mold all over the bathroom walls, the fridge and even on the curtain near the window. The AC was a hit or miss… my parents room was like a furnace even after having them come up to try to fix it. People were nice but if you like a clean room this isn’t the place to stay.

The area was very centralized, place extremely clean

Excellent breakfast, staff were helpful. Our room was lovely, a very comfy bed, and access to mini bar which was free. Would recommend.

The room was nice and clean. I loved the location of this hotel and found it walkable to almost everything I wanted to do. The staff was very helpful, and they even had cards you could give taxi drivers with the address of the hotel for the language barrier. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Ssaw Hotel is a great choice as it is very centrally located to many attractions. The Yu Garden was only a few minutes away as well as lots of shopping areas. The pier was also only a few minutes walking distance. The hotel itself had great amenities and the breakfast had lots of choices. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They were attentive to us, helped us recommend restaurants, and also helped us navigate some local ordering platforms which was very helpful.

Great value hotel with great location and breakfast. I had nothing to complain about the hotel. I was arrived to this hotel after I stopped at another destination before Shanghai. My after heavy use of sunblock and sun exposure with not kid friendly hotel soup usage, my son started to develop rashes on his face by the time arriving in Shanghai, checking in at hotel. We were hoping it will get better but it got worse as we went forward with our travel plans in shanghai. By our third day, when checking out from the hotel to depart to Disneyland, our son's face had noticeable rashes, my wife wanted to take him to a hospital to get a check up. Luckily we had a travel insurance and we wanted to take our son to some of the listed hospitals to visit by international traveler. So we asked the lo by receptionist and I think her name was Suki. She helped us to make a call to the hospital and set up an appointment for was to go immediately with about 15 minutes raxi ride. We then was able to arrive at the hospital had my son checked up by a doctor received an medication and given a direction on what to watch out for and what might be a possible cause. We were about two hours behind wirh our original schedule to go visit Disneyland and we were able to go with medications and peace of mind knowing that it was not anything too serious and could go forward with travel plans with medication and right ways to protect and prevent. We were super grateful for the hotel staffs.

The room smelled like smoke, room was very dusty, staff aren’t friendly at all. They see you trying to get into the lobby with your luggage and don’t hesitate to help. No one understand basic English.

Great location by the Bund. Have been many times to this hotel. The service used to be better but if you ask them to fix whatever is not working out, they will promptly
