The onsen is nice and well maintained. As for the room, there was a cockroach in the room I had slept in. I called the front desk. I asked for a room change for my second night, which they did. They gave me a new room (same quality) with a non functioning TV. They explained to me that insects could come in a room while it's being cleaned. They apologized and offered two water bottles as a compensation. I do not recommend and will avoid APA hotels in the futur.

Loved the onsen to relax at the end of a busy day. The air con meant we were comfortable after a hot humid day. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great, right next to two train stations. Fairly quiet area compared to other options.

The hotel is strategically located three short blocks from the Sugamo Station on the Yamanote Line. It offers two precious amenities, a diverse and delicious breakfast buffet that provides protein, vegies, soups and cereal, yogurt and fruit cocktail, and much more. The other is the immaculate, impressive onsen on the top floor that stays open till 2 am. The beds are comfy, and the AC works on command and as cool as you want. Great value! Bravo!

AC was the best of 5 hotels. Conveniently located, decent breakfast though light on breads, loads of nearby restaurants. Be sure to visit Rikugien Garden one stop away.

The hotel is near train stations and very convenient to go anywhere in Tokyo. The room is very clean. We enjoyed hot bath as well. We will book again.
