Old and tired

The staff were exceptionally nice except for on one occasion. The man running the breakfast was awesome. The breakfast itself was average. Our room was very nice but maybe a slight bit dated. The location is pretty good for Metro access.

We booked a three bedroom deluxe apartment for a 7 night stay, going along with the reviews and photos we saw online. We were given Apartment number 1114. The moment we stepped into the apartment, we were hit with a musty smell and a dilapidated look. The apartment was so rundown, dusty with dirty furniture and carpets, and the kitchen was falling apart and was disgustingly old. The dishwasher could not be closed properly and was leaking the kitchen floor after each use The detergent drawer of the washing machine was broken. There were cockroaches running around the kitchen on more than two separate days. There was not enough crockery enough for our 6 people group. Only two teaspoons and two mugs were there. The bathrooms were so small and so old with no shower cubicles. They were bathtubs with shower curtains. Immediately after checking into the apartment we complained to the front desk staff requesting another apartment, but the request was ignored. On the positive side, the apartment was cleaned daily and there was a decent breakfast though it was the same food everyday. The swimming pool was clean. The lobby/common areas looked nice which was deceptive when compared with the room we were given. It cannot be rated 4 star at all, more like 1 star. Would never recommend to anyone. Terrible and disappointing experience. Never looked a bit like the photos online on their website.

The Hotel itself is very good, all staff very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was nice, a good range of food. A little slow on check in & out. Room was clean and Hotel is in a great location. The only issue we had was a very noisy bar / nightclub downstairs. Was told it would only be Saturday night however it was every night til well after 11pm.

The rooms are not as refreshed as i like. Bathrooms have no good air conditioning.
