Really comfortable stay in this hotel. The room was immaculate and well furnished. We particularly enjoyed the bath and what looked like new carpet and furnishings.

On arrival I found that I had neglected to ask for a ground floor room due to an issue using stairs at the moment. The receptionist kindly moved me immediately to a ground floor room with no issues at all. She was really helpful and understood the issue. The room was spacious and clean but due to the nature of my stay I didn't use any of the other facilities.

Clean rooms in an updated older hotel. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning, as it was unusually hot when we visited. There was a small fan provided, but it did little to cool the room. We felt unsafe leaving the window open because we were on the ground level and it would have been easy for anyone to climb right into our room.
The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. Staff was very friendly.

For the most part this was a good hotel, our room was spotlessly clean, had an issue when we arrived with our first room, they were very accommodating and moved us to a new room (which I think was an upgrade). Was a decent stay with comfy beds etc, and decent amenities in the rooms.
It does feel like it could do with a refurb though, looking tired in a few places.
We didn’t use any of the restaurant facilities, but on the way out we were accused of racking up a bill in the restaurant. Which reception didn’t seem to believe was a mistake.
