Staff were lovely, room was nice, had all necessities. Location was excellent, easy walk to river or mall, not too noisy/reasonable soundproofing from road noise. Only real downside was the TV - cast from smart device rather than smart TV didn't work but otherwise a great stay.

Good proximity to city easy walking distance. Plenty of places to eat nearby. In house Best brews was a great place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink staff member was welcoming and very efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of options to choose and staff welcoming and helpgul.

We have stayed there a few times and it’s always been fantastic. This trip was a bit different. The room was extremely cold and at 2pm ask for help as the thermostat wasn’t working. At 6pm and after asking for help twice we had to move rooms. In my opinion 4 hours in the cold was too long. Also asked for a bucket of ice waited an hour and then had to ask again. Again too long . It’s seemed to be under staffed this stay.

Unfortunately there is a construction opposite, new railway station, with works 24/7 so not good for sleeping despite the hotel's best endeavours to reduce the noise. Staff terrific.
