Clean hotel with great staff. It was crowded every morning but the staff kept the breakfast stocked well.

Nice location for MSG and nice rooftop bar. Breakfast was nice. The only issue was our AC didn’t cool the room leaving it

Hotel was well maintained

It was close to a subway. The hotel was clean and the employees were nice and helpful. The breakfast was good however if you go before 8am it is not as crowded. They had eggs and a meat (sausage or bacon), boiled eggs, pancakes, cereal, granola bar station, banana and oranges. They even had juices, coffee, and milk (chocolate and white). There is parking close by but we did not use it. I would request an upper room for the best view. Elevators were a little slow but it was crowded. It is within a 5 minute walk to the main Penn Station area. It is across the road from the Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station, but just know that building is closed from like 1-5am so just keep that in mind for traveling.

Shea and Mark Front desk staff excellent Customer service. The location was across from train station very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was good.

Everything was great expect the air conditioning in the room was quite noisy and not very cool. Staff is great. Rooms are very clean. Spacious by NYC standards.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. It’s so convenient to MSG and Penn Station. Everything was great! Only thing was that there were no waffles at breakfast and the coffee was a bit too strong… that’s just personal preference. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable, but for the price of the room I was disappointed at the size of the room, the room was outdated, the water pressure in shower was weak and only like warm, that there were small plastic drink cups in room, the toilet paper was horrendous, the free breakfast offered four urns of Bold coffee, no light or medium roast option. I would not stay here again, nor recommend.

My flight was canceled and I needed a last minute hotel stay. The staff at the Fairfield by Marriot were all so nice and helpful. The hotel is nice, clean, and updated. It was extremely close to Penn Station, which was convenient for travel. I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is excellent, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. My husband and I arrived about an hour and a half before check-in. We were told we could either pay a $75 early check-in fee or wait, even though our room was already ready. After seeing the lobby packed with guests sitting on their luggage, it became pretty obvious why. If you’re planning to visit the rooftop bar, be prepared for sticker shock. Two drinks cost us $52 before tip. To make matters worse, they couldn’t even make a White Russian because they didn’t have milk. I ended up walking to the CVS around the corner just to buy some myself. Within 15 minutes of getting to our room, I requested a refrigerator since the rooms don’t include one. After waiting for hours, I had to call again around 9:30 p.m. It still didn’t arrive until about an hour later. The service continued to disappoint. We requested additional towels and were told housekeeping would be in at 9:00 a.m. They didn’t arrive until 10:00 a.m., leaving me waiting an extra hour just to take a shower and start the day. The rooms themselves also need updating. The bedding is old, worn, and feels long overdue for replacement. The one standout positive is the location. The hotel is just steps from Madison Square Garden, and you can actually see MSG from the property. If your priority is being close to the venue, it’s hard to beat. Unfortunately, the convenience won't be enough for me to stay again.
