LIV Hotel Bronx - Newly Built

A/C didn’t come on when I adjusted the temperature when it got hot. No microwave in room made it inconvenient. Staff were very polite and helpful. Overall location was great for where I had to travel, which was walking distance from the hotel.

I chose this hotel because it has parking. I was in The Bronx for one night and didn't want to park on the street or have to circle the block to find parking late at night. Unfortunately, this big ass hotel has a small parking "deck" (wouldn't call it a lot) that holds less than 15 cars. If you are fortunate enough to get one of the spots, you will be blocked in by other guess who also do not want to park on the street.

The bed was covered in hair and insects, and the smell of cigarettes was on another level.

The room was filthy. The hotel is not what it appears to be. Please look elsewhere. This was a scam.

This place was horrible. The staff was very Rude, from the front desk to the housekeeping. Every one was very nasty when you asked then a question, it was like they didn't want to be spoken to. The room was not as pictured, it was so small. It was dirty, Floor was sticky and we found Weed clips all over the place. The Air conditioner wasn't work properly, it would turn the temperature to a high number. We had to continue to turn the temperature down every 30 hr. The Parking Lot is very small. I picked this hotel because of the parking.

Misleading information

Decent Hotel But no parking anywhere it was completely packed even on the street. Packed bumper to bumper wayyyy down the road it took about 2 hours to find parking.

Way over priced for what it is. Entire 7th floor smoked like it was a marijuana dispensary. Hotel is less than a year out but it appears management is ok with any kind of smoking. Maybe you make floor 8 the smoking floor. Could have gotten the same at Super 8 for $500 less.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone: Parking is EXTREMELY limited. Door for room 202 doesn’t latch. You have to slam the door several times for it to latch and lock. When front desk staff was informed of this he came upstairs and said “Don’t you think you should give it a second to latch” after the door was closed for minutes while he came upstairs and he was still just able to push the door open from the outside. Towels are worn. Some with hair glue on them, some with strands of hair, some had makeup on them so I’m sure they don’t thoroughly wash them. Sheets on bed had holes. Reservation stated there will be 2 guests and we got ONE washcloth. Had to request more and even then they acted as if we should use the same towel every day because they only brought 1 more towel. We had to request more when they brought that one. Phone didn’t work to contact front desk for more towels this morning before we left. Tried calling from cell, no answer. However when we checked out, front desk staff was sitting there on her phone while the phone was ringing the background. Room and bed was too small for the price we paid. There wasn’t even a mirror. They have great restaurants in the area though.
